Music is my canvas, and every film tells a story waiting to be painted. My scores don’t just support the visuals, they unveil the soul of your story, amplifying its emotion and narrative power.
Latest project
"Lapis Amor" features a hybrid score of electronic and orchestral elements, recorded with the European Recording Orchestra. Composed for Sebastian Storgaard's short film, the music underscores the story of Matti, a writer trapped in a Sisyphus-like struggle, and Emma, his fleeting muse. With intertwining leitmotifs, the score reflects their tragic journey, delivering a cinematic and emotionally immersive experience. This unique soundtrack blends modern soundscapes with classical instrumentation, making it ideal for those seeking evocative and narrative-driven film music.

Stefano D'Amico's piece performed by Symphonic Orchestra with 110 musicians
Stefano is a marvelous composer. His music comes straight from his heart to our ears. He feels eveything intensely, and that feeling comes across. When he finds the right director, they will do beautiful things together.
-Andy Hill, Vice President of Music Production at Walt Disney, dean of the Film Scoring Academy of Europe and author of the acclaimed book "Scoring the Screen"-
Stefano is a truly gifted artist who excels in elevating a film with his captivating music. His gift in reading a scene and knowing how to push the emotionality of it even further with his composition is truly a work of art, and I could not be happier that he chose my film to work on. Stefano is not only very talented as an artist, but also very good when it comes to feedback, communication, professionalism and overall cooperation. I hope I get to work with him again in the future.

About me
I am a composer and music producer for Film and TV, deeply driven by the power of storytelling. With a narrative-focused approach, I delve into the rich universe of sound to craft music that emotionally connects with audiences.
My journey began with rigorous classical training at the Conservatorio N. Rota, followed by advanced studies at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe, where I earned a Master’s in Music for Motion Pictures and Contemporary Media. Under the mentorship of Dr. Andy Hill, former Vice President of Music Production at Disney, I refined my craft, receiving a scholarship from Oscar-winning composer Jan A.P. Kaczmarek.
My work spans a variety of projects, including original scores for short films, independent movies, and TV content. Recently, I composed the score for Lapis Amor, a poignant short film directed by Sebastian Storgaard, where my music enhanced the story’s emotional depth. I’ve also released several piano-driven albums and singles, blending minimalism with cinematic richness.
Drawing inspiration from composers like Max Richter, James Newton Howard, and Philip Glass, I specialize in film scoring that seamlessly combines orchestral and electronic elements. My compositions are known for their ability to amplify emotional storytelling and create evocative soundscapes.
Collaboration is at the heart of my process. Whether crafting a sweeping orchestral arrangement, a minimalistic score, or a customized soundtrack for your film, I work closely with directors and producers to translate their vision into music. Let’s create something unforgettable together.
